The Scholarship Committee:
- EHS Class of '64 will establish a committee of 3 or 5 people who do not have family members applying for the scholarship.
- The Scholarship Committee can decide to make one or several scholarships, depending on the amount of money available at the end of the reunion.
- It will be the responsibility of the Class of '64 Reunion Committee to provide the promised funds raised from the sale of the reunion movie and any excess from the Silent Auction.
- Application Forms will be available at the reunion for people to take home with them for their family members who may want to apply. Or, save and print a copy now so your relatives can get started early.

- The committee will meet to review the applications once the deadline for applications is past. (15 August 2004)
- The decisions of the committee shall be final and scholarship(s) will be awarded no later than December 2004.
Potential Applicants:
- Applicants must be related by blood or marriage to a member of the EHS Class of 1964. This can be a child, step-child, grand child, niece, nephew, etc. It does not matter how distant the relationship.
- Applicants can be from any location, not just Edmond, and can be attending school anywhere.
- Applicants must have completed (or will be completing) a certified high school with a B average or better.
- AND applicants must be enrolled (or accepted) at a certified school of higher learning.
- If already attending a school of higher education or planning an advanced degree, applicants must have maintained a B average or better in their post high school education.
- Key traits: The winning applicant should be enthusiastic, dynamic, serious about advanced education and possess a solid track record of achievement (grades, activities, work). Just like the class of '64, right?
- It will be the applicants' responsibility to provide the necessary proofs and letters with their application. These are listed on the application form.
- If more than one applicant meets the requirements, preference will be given to the one with greatest financial need.
- It is possible there will be more than one scholarship awarded, depending on the amount raised at the reunion.
