As you all know I am working on a scrapbook for the reunion. Have been unable to pull photos off the website so if anyone has pictures of any of the events, leading up to and including the main event, that you don't mind me using in my book please send to me and I will return them to you as soon as I've scanned them. My mailing address is:Hope Talley - Wednesday, August 04, 2004 at 03:19:13 (AST) Thank you for adding the eulogy. Johnny you presented it as no one else could have. I believe again it shows what a special class the CLASS OF 64 is. Thank all of you for letting me to share it with you. Hope.Hope Talley - Monday, July 19, 2004 at 12:44:37 (AST) By the way, David, thanks for pointing out in your Top 10 Surprises that Gary Canan and I could still FIT into our little twirler outfits, even though we couldn't make them look as good as Marti and Andy. SHAME on all of you who pinched us, though. Some things never change! :)John Ingram - Friday, July 16, 2004 at 01:01:31 (AST) THANKS to Janie & Alan, Sherry & Bill, and the rest of the committee and the ENTIRE CLASS for making the whole experience a BLAST! The memories, both new and old. were well worth the trip from California. The restaurant staff where the spontaneous after-gathering occurred asked: "Are you with "that crew?" as we entered, to which we proudly exclaimed: "YES!" Thanks to you all for being such wonderful people and friends then, in between, and now. "EHS the Movie" is excellent, and I've had much fun sharing it with my family and friends here in southern California who are amazed at how good it is, and better, how great the class is. I'm looking forward to next time!John Ingram - Thursday, July 15, 2004 at 17:27:06 (AST) The recent poem by "anon" is great. But don't remain anonymous. Take credit for the special thoughts you put together. I miss you all and wish we could have had more time together. I didn't get to see and talk to everyone as I would have liked. Can we do it again?? I really appreciated how far some of you traveled to make it to the reunion. We did and do have a great class! See some of you soon.Virginia Gourley Baffrey - Monday, July 12, 2004 at 04:12:23 (AST) I've just been reading all the new comments in the Memories section and I agree with everyone... the reunion was uplifting, joyful, exciting, and it was wonderful to see your sweet lovely faces! I will remember it always. God bless you all.Helen Parrish Smith - Friday, July 09, 2004 at 19:00:29 (AST) I WAS A LATE-COMER TO EDMOND. IT TOOK ME A LONG TIME TO FEEL LIKE I BELONGED. MOST OF MY MEMORIES WERE OF COLLEGE.penny davis - Friday, July 09, 2004 at 14:11:32 (AST) I still think daily about our fabulous reunion. Seeing everyone there was a definite plus in my life. I wish I would have spent at least an hour with everyone in our class to get to know them a little. Looking back, I believe "Hi" was the most I ever spoke to the majority of my classmates.Judy Allred Sparks - Friday, July 09, 2004 at 12:38:51 (AST) A big thank you to all who worked so hard to make our 40th reunion such a huge success. Special thanks to Sherry for being a great general and to Janie & Alan for making an academy award winning movie. I enjoyed every minute of the weekend and was so glad I got to see everyone (even the "spies" from other classes!). The Class of '64 rocks!! xoxoxo, BarbaraBarbara Lynch - Friday, July 09, 2004 at 11:27:32 (AST) The reunion was great. It seems everyone is so happy with themselves. I think that makes us a very successful class. I look forward to hearing more on Greg and Jackie's 60 year plan. Also Renea wanted to let everyone know how much she enjoyed meeting everyone and how welcome all made her feel.Terry Brooks - Friday, July 09, 2004 at 09:33:19 (AST) I just want to tell whoever did the Poem it is Fantastic. I truly enjoyed getting to see everyone and hearing about people's life adventures during the last 40 years! Wow - what a novel some of those stories would make! CarlaCarla Baker - Wednesday, July 07, 2004 at 12:33:06 (AST) I would like to say "Thank You" to Sherry, Nancy, Carolyn, Karen, and Bill for sharing your stories about the reunion. I am so sorry that I let a broken shoulder stand in the way of being with all of you at the reunion. This is something that I will regret forever! I should of made myself go.......I would like to say Thanks to all of you who worked so hard putting this reunion together. Even though I wasn't there...through the Video and C.D. I got to see all of you that were there! You all looked wonderful. Lord willing, maybe I will be able to attend the next reunion. Until then...Love and Best WishesFrances Wise Coffee - Friday, July 02, 2004 at 18:14:03 (AST) I just want to thank everyone that made a special effort to come to our "40th" reunion. It was so good to see all of you. It was worth all the long hours, sweat, and tears that all the committee members shared to put this together. I know that I had the best time ever! I can't believe we can still dance like we are teens. I do believe that several of us (Warren, Judy, Betty, Janie, Sharon, David, John and myself) need to make an AARP commercial to the tune of YMCA. At first I thought we all might need Jerry Hyatt to revive us but we all made it. It was so good to see so many having the best time. It was as if it hadn't been 20 years since the last reunion. I also want to say that John Ingram gave the best eulogy (in honor of our deceased alumni). It made us all realize the importance of their existence in our lives. We also enjoyed seeing past teachers, Don Matthews, Ralph Bullard, & Ella Mae Broyles. I also want to thank those that traveled from beyond the state of Oklahoma just to come to the reunion. Mary Hamilton came from Korea, and Janie White from Bonaire. They need a very special award. Those that didn't see the "Movie", missed a real treat. It really brought us down memory lane! Janie and Alan should start their own production company and make movies. I don't know about you all but I hated for it to end! See you all at the next reunion!!!!!Sherry Casto Bowman - Thursday, July 01, 2004 at 19:39:40 (AST) I can't believe how much fun we had at the reunion!! It was wonderful to see everyone and we all look pretty good. Sherry and Janie and everyone who put it together did a great job. I did miss seeing the people who didn't make it, especially those who live right here in Edmond. They just don't realize what they missed. Let's not wait so long again to get together. Tawny, Paulette, Janie Browne, Donna, Gary Beck, George, Bill T.--where were you all??Virginia Gourley Baffrey - Thursday, July 01, 2004 at 04:01:06 (AST) THANKS FOR THE AWESOME REUNION AND ALL THE HARD WORK THAT WAS PUT INTO IT...IT WAS GOOD TO SEE ALL THOSE WONDERFUL FACES AGAIN....THANK YOU JUDY FOR BEGGING ME TO COME EVEN THOU YOU DIDN'T DANCE ALOT WITH ME.....NICE TO SEE WHAT GREAT PEOPLE EVERYONE HAS BECOME.....THE DVD WAS MIND BLOWING AND SO GREAT THAT YOU WORKED EVERYONE IN.......OUR CLASS REUNION HAD TO BE THE BEST EVER....THANK YOU ALL AGAIN AND AGAIN....................KEEP ON DANCING IN YOUR HEARTS..............VIVA LAS VEGAS....DEEDEE.........................................DeeDee {Betty Compton} - Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 22:09:55 (AST) I just want to thank all who came to the reunion. I remember being at a speech tournament in Enid--Phillips University--when the announcment was made. The members of the speech team went to the motel we were staying at and watched the aftermath togetheron T.V. I don't think any of us fully understood the greater consequences of that day, but I do remember it being a very surreal experience. I remember watching it with Alex Frank, Danny Goble, Mary Smith, Bob McLaughton, and I think Marcia Roberts.warren stanila - Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at 14:21:35 (AST) Mrs. Anderson reaching inside her dress to pull her bra strap up!
