	This census lists John H. Chew's father's birthplace incorrectly as Virginia instead of Maryland and his mother's birthplace as Tennessee instead of Virginia. The brothers of John Hamilton also listed their mother's birth state as Tennessee so we suspect her family moved there from Virginia. Daughter Lilla is listed as Liller in the census, but then that is probably how they pronounced it. Edgar later was known as John E.


	Here they seem to have the birthplaces for John and Sarah's parents correct -- we think. It also appears that both girls are married by now and out of the house. One would be 26 and the other 20.
